Welcome to Mountain Farm House

We're delighted to welcome you to our little corner of the Pembrokeshire coast!

Mountain Farm is a working 350-acre farm located just outside Broad Haven. Surrounded by rolling fields, fresh sea air, and breathtaking countryside views, our farmhouse—originally built at the turn of the last century—has been thoughtfully extended over the years into the lovely four-bedroom retreat you’ll enjoy today.

Explore and Enjoy

During your stay, feel free to explore the land. You're welcome to walk the fields—just be sure to stick to the edges of crop fields to avoid damaging the plants. You may spot our curious cattle grazing nearby. While they're friendly, for your safety (and theirs), please stay on the opposite side of any fences.

Please follow the Countryside Code during your visit, especially:

• Close all gates behind you to keep our animals safe.

• Respect wildlife and farmland.

General Information

Rubbish Collection

• Collected every Saturday morning on departure.

Food Waste

• Please use the green bin under the sink with the supplied food waste bags.

Recycling

• Clearly marked recycling containers are in the garage.

General Waste

• Items like crisp packets and cellophane wrappers should go in the silver kitchen bin.

Dog Waste

• Bag separately and label clearly as “Dog Poop.”

• Please ensure you check the garden and bag any poop before you depart.  

Need Extra Waste Collection?

• If your bins are full before your departure, call 01437 781780 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) to arrange an early collection.

Power Trips

• There are two fuse boxes: one in the hall and one in the utility room.

Heating

• Main thermostats are located in the utility room.

Hot Tub Guidelines 🛁

Relax and enjoy the hot tub—but please take a moment to read the following before use:

Setup & Safety

• Unclip all four cover clips, fold back the lid, and lift it off with help from another person.

• Rest the lid safely against the wall and always replace and reclip it after use.

• The hot tub fits a maximum of six people.

• Steps must remain in place for safe entry and exit.

Before You Enter

• Rinse swimwear in clean water to remove any detergent residues.

• Shower beforehand to keep water clean and clear.

• Do not use if you’ve applied fake tan, creams, or body oils.

• The water temperature is set to 38.5°C—please do not adjust.

• No pets or glassware in or near the hot tub. Use the plastic glasses provided in the kitchen.

Children

• Babies and toddlers must wear swim nappies if not potty trained.

• Ideal temperature for children is 35°C, so limit their time in the tub.

• Children must be supervised at all times.

Health & Safety

• Anyone with heart conditions or who is pregnant should consult a doctor before use.

• Stay hydrated and limit your time in the tub.

• The hot tub is checked regularly and cleaned thoroughly on changeover days.

Damage or Misuse

• If the hot tub must be emptied mid-stay (e.g., due to broken glass), a call-out and water replacement fee will apply. This will also interrupt your use.
